What is Business Analysis?

Business Analysis is the process of understanding the business needs. A Business Analyst acts as a liaison between the technical group (software development group) and the Client (Business). A BA elicits the requirements, analyzes, documents them, models the requirements and communicates those requirements to the Technical team.
